West Virginia State is once again in the West Virginia Conference baseball tournament final four, a double-elimination showdown set for this weekend at Princeton's Hunnicutt Field.

The Yellow Jackets (37-12 overall, 17-1 WVC), who are going for their third consecutive league championship and fourth in five years, will begin their title defense Friday against Shepherd at 6 p.m. Shepherd (21-17, 8-7) finished second in the WVC Northern Division and advanced to the final four with a win over Salem in the play-in game.
