Senior Ashley Banks and junior Deana Everrett scored second-half goals to lead No. 4-seed West Virginia (17-4-2) past James Madison (17-5-1) 2-0 Sunday afternoon in the second round of NCAA soccer tournament at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown.

The win moves the Mountaineers to the NCAA tournament's third round (round of 16) for the second time in school history. The 17 wins by West Virginia this year tie the 2003 team for second-most in a season. The school record is 18 set in 2002.
