West Virginia State puts its eight-game winning streak - and likely its shot at a West Virginia Conference regular-season title - on the line today as Pitt-Johnstown invades Fleming Hall for a 4 p.m. showdown of conference powers.

The Yellow Jackets and Mountain Cats are each 12-2 in WVC play. Conference leader West Liberty is also 12-2 but owns a slight edge in the power ratings used to crown a champion. With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, today's game will certainly shuffle the landscape atop the standings and could knock the loser out of title contention.
