Jennifer Jarvis (left) is the VBS director at First Baptist Church of Nitro. She said the summer VBS is our biggest community outreach of the year. With her above are Music Director Kim Hoffman and her husband, Steve. Senior Pastor David Bess poses in front of a cabin built on stage for the Nitro VBS, which ran from June 20- 24. More than 40 church members voluntered to help build the outdoor- themed sets.
