Lisa Lee had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead the University of Charleston to a 77-60 win over host Belmont Abbey (N.C.). Courtney Thomas and Rachel Pike added 15 and 16 points, respectively, for UC (7-0). Thomas handed out nine assists to go with five rebounds.
"It looked like we were a little road weary," UC coach Sherry Winn said. "They took a 14-4 lead on us right off the bat, and we had to wake up and play" Winn added. Nicole Woods led Belmont Abbey (4-3) with 20 points.See the full content of this document
