Several Putnam County educators participated in a summer teacher workshop recently at the Wetlands of Winfield.

Putnam teachers Katie McDilda, Cindy Wandling, Valerie Fowler and Rachel Hull, along with retired teacher Cindy Ellis, worked with Joe Haynes and other American Electric Power representatives and Marshall University to introduce teachers to the life of the Wetlands of Winfield. Other Putnam County participants were Barbara Black, Kensie Fisher, Kathy Hudson, Lynne Kibler, Angela Nitardy, Craig Snyder, Claudia Tull and Lynn Wymer.
