AMPUTEE SUPPORT GROUP

The West Virginians' Amputee Support Group meets at 1 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month at the South Charleston library, to provide free educational information, comfort and a forum for discussions. Amputees and their families, caregivers, friends and other interested parties are welcome to attend. Meetings often feature guest speakers. For more information, call Ron Kennedy at 304-722-5851 between 2 and 5 p.m. weekdays.

Living Word Christian Center, 1418 Kanawha Blvd. in Charleston, conducts a 12-step, Christian-based recovery program for those struggling with alcoholism, drug abuse, anger, depression and compulsive behavior disorders.
