Summary


The Charleston Area Ostomy Association is a volunteer, health- based nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people who have had or will have intestinal or urinary diversions. All ostomates and their families are encouraged to attend and become familiar with the organization. Meetings are on the first Sunday of the month, except June, July, August and January. The next meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Hansford Senior Center in St. Albans. Two, free Cancer Support Groups meet regularly in the David Lee Cancer Center, Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, 3100 MacCorkle Ave., S.E., Charleston. A breast cancer support group meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, and a cancer patient support group meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.
