AS Rick Thompson and John Perdue tried unsuccessfully in the special primary, Bill Maloney is trying to beat a dead horse (dog?) regarding Earl Ray Tomblin's supposed ties to his family's greyhound breeding kennel.

In his recent ads, Maloney contends that Tomblin has directed some $2.5 million of taxpayer dollars to Tomblin Kennels, owned by Tomblin's mother, Freda, and brother, Carl.
