Summary
The number of high school graduates going to college in West Virginia has increased to about 59 percent, a jump of nearly 3 percent, a study by the Higher Education Policy Commission shows.
Of the 17,971 students who graduated from high school in 2003, about 10,673 students enrolled in a college or university. Nearly 50 percent, or 8,941 students, chose West Virginia institutions, the highest since the commission started tracking student migration in 1999.See the full content of this document
