For the first time since it moved into the former Brotherton's Market 18 years ago, Sojourner's Shelter is looking for a new home - but only for a month or two.

The building at 1418 Washington St. E that houses the YWCA's shelter for women and families requires dozens of major and minor repairs, some for health and safety reasons, Marketing Director Laura Jordan said. YW leaders decided the best way to do the job is to move the shelter and its residents - 64 on a typical day - somewhere else temporarily.
