The Putnam County Gun Club sponsored the 10th Annual Youth Shooting Day Sept. 10 at Eleanor. Club members and conservation officers were on hand to offer instruction and gun-handling safety. If this target were a real deer, would it be a safe shot for a hunter to take? The answer is no, according to conservation officers, because there is a road at the bottom of the hill.
