GLEN DALE - A rock slide shut down W.Va. 2 between Glen Dale and McMechen and contributed to a traffic accident that killed one person and injured four others.
Herman C. Werfele, 38, of Moundsville was traveling northbound in the area known as the Glen Dale Narrows on Thursday night when his vehicle struck several large rocks that had fallen onto the road. Werfele lost control of his vehicle, which slid into the southbound lane and was hit by another vehicle, according to Marshall County sheriff's officials.See the full content of this document
