I've been on a mission the past couple of summers to find different burgers, departing from the ground chuck, salt and pepper standard to ones with a little more excitement.

So far, I've developed or discovered and tried recipes from various sources for green chili burger, all-American burger, caramelized onion and mushroom turkey patty melts, chicken spanokopita burger, fried green tomato burger, onion burgers, Caesar burger, turkey garden burgers (veggie-loaded patties) and international-flavored mayonnaise spreads for the buns.
