A Putnam County mother who is running for the county school board stormed into Buffalo Elementary School on Thursday, screaming at the principal and allegedly making an obscene gesture at him in front of a group of students.

Kathie Crouse, 40, of Buffalo, charged up the hallway around 7:25 a.m. Thursday morning and disrupted a safety committee meeting with Principal Mike Mullins and other school staff, according to a statement Mullins made to Putnam County sheriff's deputies.
