AS A neighbor to the Warner brothers' property in Philippi and as a departing city councilman, I will vouch for Scott Finn's May 9 Sunday Gazette-Mail article, "Philippi residents upset with GOP chief."
Kris Warner's disregard for Philippi troubles me. I will concede Warner's indignant response that Finn's investigation is rooted in partisan politics, but the recent history of the "old Hospital" (the ironic name "Grand Central Business Center" never took) is pertinent. That a gubernatorial election digs up such dirt should neither surprise nor fluster the state's GOP chairman.See the full content of this document
