Parkways Outspends Revenue by $5.7 Million

Summary


During the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2008, the West Virginia Parkways, Economic Development and Tourism Authority took in slightly more than $64 million.

Those revenues included $56.6 million from tolls collected on the West Virginia Turnpike and $7.5 million from other sources, including sales of meals and souvenirs at the Tamarack Center in Beckley.
