Parkersburg Man Gets Two Years in Identity Theft

A Parkersburg man was sentenced Monday in federal court to two years in prison for charging more than $3,000 to a credit card that belonged to someone else, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.

John Shilling, 29, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft, admitting that he used the personal information of a resident of Athens, Ohio, to get a Discover card, a news release states.
