He was a retired foreman with Union Carbide and was an appliance repairman. Mr. Badgley was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Badgley; daughters, Marsha Hosey of Nitro and Dolores Marie Wymer of South Charleston; brother- in-law, Richard G. Shanahan and his wife, Linda, of Florida; grandchildren, Sheyenne Loveridge of Florida, Shane Hosey of Texas and Roxanne Wymer of South Charleston; nieces, Kathy Miller and her husband, Gary, of Indiana and Candy Sampson and her husband, Dean, of Dunbar.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Twin City Bible Church, Nitro, with the Rev. Phil E. Suiter and the Rev. Bruce Young officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at Twin City Bible Church.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.Larissa Nicole BowlesLarissa Nicole Bowles, 15-month-old daughter of Curtis and Irma Bowles of Meadow Bridge, died Oct. 7, 2007.
