He was an Army veteran, a coal miner, and formerly employed by the Turnpike Authority.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Rilda Sloane Branham; brothers, Turner, Curt, Albert, and Thomas; and sisters, Juanita, Virginia, Freda and Almeda.He is survived by sisters, Audrey Marie Crum of Chesapeake and Gretchen Branham Ulbrich of Charleston; special nephew, Richard Branham and wife, Leian, of Charleston; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, at Pryor Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Camp officiating.
