Obituaries

He was an Army veteran, a coal miner, and formerly employed by the Turnpike Authority.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Rilda Sloane Branham; brothers, Turner, Curt, Albert, and Thomas; and sisters, Juanita, Virginia, Freda and Almeda.

He is survived by sisters, Audrey Marie Crum of Chesapeake and Gretchen Branham Ulbrich of Charleston; special nephew, Richard Branham and wife, Leian, of Charleston; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, at Pryor Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Camp officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank

June M. Brotherton, 97, of Spring Hill passed away at her residence Monday morning, October 26, 2009.

She was born in Elkhart, Ind., and was a daughter of the late Ruddell and Nona Harman Rusk.
