Obituaries

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Junior Lee Adkins.

Also surviving are his 3-year-old brother, Jacob Lee Adkins at home; his 7-year-old brother, Ethan Austin Adkins at home; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Adkins of Clay County; maternal grandmother, Karen Sue and her husband, John F. Pomeroy of Dry Branch; maternal grandfather, Charles M. Proctor and his wife, Lou Ann of Belle.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Donald Lanham officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, Clay County.

Evangeline Gannon Bailey

Evangeline Gannon Bailey, 95, of Cedartown, Ga., formerly of Charleston, where she lived from 1925 to 1991, died in Rome, Ga., on Dec. 4, 2004.

Evangeline was a retired Practical Nurse in Charleston. She became a Christian at age 18, and never left her faith. At her death, she was a member of ...
