More Miners Face Charges On Credentials

ELKINS - Two more West Virginia coal miners have been indicted on federal charges that they lied about their credentials to work as foremen and conduct safety checks at a pair of underground mines, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Luke W. Pugh, 49, of Jane Lew, faces 37 charges, prosecutors said. Chad J. Farrell, 39, of Nettie, faces a 30-count indictment.
