A lot has happened at Kanawha County's Metro 911 center in the past 25 years.
On Jan. 4, 1987, the county began its first joint emergency response system when dispatchers from the Kanawha County Courthouse walked across the street to Charleston City Hall for the first time, joining forces to dispatch emergency crews.
