Metro 911 will test its emergency backup telephone system again this morning after failing its third test in 10 days on Wednesday morning.
"Today, we tested the emergency system provided by Verizon and the 911 lines rang busy rather than being directed to the [backup] Brooks Street location," Metro President Kent Carper wrote in a letter to Verizon on Wednesday.
