The Tournament of Bands is a competitive marching band organization that consists of more than 400 bands in nine states. Each year, TOB sanctions more than 140 competitions, including championships for all 13 chapters as well as the Atlantic Coast Championship.

On Nov. 4, Hurricane High School had the privilege of hosting the group's Chapter VIII Championship at Laidley Field. The event featured 20 bands from schools in West Virginia, Ohio and Southern Pennsylvania.
