Leatherwood Water Project Looks Unlikely

Summary


Things are looking bad for a water project to bring service to 145 families in the Leatherwood and Reamer Hill areas of Kanawha County.

West Virginia American Water, which had previously agreed to pick up about $1.1 million of the $3.5 million price tag for the water project, pulled funding for Leatherwood and all other partnerships earlier this month.
