The Touch of Life column of Oct. 13 told of a trip Linda and I took through the eastern part of West Virginia to view beautiful leaves of all sizes, all shapes and all colors that hung from the branches of the mountain trees. Without a doubt they were beautiful.
Now all is changed and I have a different attitude. It is Oct. 27 and the leaves are falling. I am inundated with them again in 2004 as I have been each fall since the early Seventies. The trees in our yard and their accompanying leaves add to my enjoyment for most of the year. But, from about Oct. 15 until Nov. 10 we are bitter enemies.See the full content of this document
