Land Dispute Affects River Access
The tract in question makes up the right slope of the Gauley River Canyon for paddlers moving downstream between Sweets Falls and Koontz Bend. Commercial whitewater outfitters Dave Arnold of Class VI River Runners and Imre Szilagyi of Appalachian Wildwaters bought the land nearly 20 years ago under a partnership named Lost Paddle Corp.
