First Lady, W.Va. Business Volunteer Council Kick Off 'Year of Volunteering' Campaign

Summary


First Lady Gayle Manchin, Sam Cipoletti of Verizon and several West Virginia business leaders and volunteers launched the start of a new campaign, the "Year to Volunteer," during ceremonies April 17 at the State Capitol.

The "Year to Volunteer" is the brainchild of the First Lady and the West Virginia Business Volunteer Council, an organization established under the auspices of the West Virginia Commission for National and Community Service, of which the First Lady serves as a commissioner.
