MARTINSBURG - A contractor for the Internal Revenue Service has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of illegally accessing four computer systems at the IRS Martinsburg Computing Center.

Michael George Sadof, 55, of Bethesda, Md., pleaded guilty Wednesday to a one-count information charging him with unlawful computer intrusion between April 23 and May 10, 2004. An information is a charge filed in lieu of grand jury proceedings and usually indicates the defendant is cooperating with prosecutors.
