We hear quite often: Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. Therefore, I think we need to look at two recent wars, Vietnam and Iraq.

How old is Iraq? As a nation, it now is 82 years old. How can that be, when we know that civilization is reputed to have started there? At the end of World War I, England, France and the United States divided up the Ottoman Empire, "liberating" it. Does that sound familiar?
