THE networks are giving us a little break from the new stuff this week. The only new show premiering is CBS' sitcom "How to Be a Gentleman" at 8:30 p.m. today.
The odd couple comedy, based on John Bridges' book, stars Kevin Dillon ("Entourage") as a macho trainer teaching magazine columnist David Hornsby ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia") how to be more manly. The Idiot Box: ; 'Up All Night' the Standout of New Sitcoms so Far
As with all the new shows I watch, I'll give it a few episodes, but honestly, the four-minute extended preview just looks awful. It has visits to strip clubs, jokes about being a pansy, trips to the gym for testosterone-soaked behavior and, of course, the pursuit of the out-of-your-league neighbor across the hall.
