HUNTINGTON - Huntington is considering an ordinance that would require scrap dealers to report purchases to city police daily.

The idea was prompted by a rash of recent thefts, including one at Spring Hill Cemetery. A bronze door and 13 bronze window guards worth approximately $20,000 were taken from a mausoleum.
