Harvard Receives $25 Million Gift

BOSTON - Harvard Business School has received a $25 million donation in support of its doctoral programs from Hansjoerg Wyss, an entrepreneur who built Synthes Inc., a leading international medical device company.

The gift, part of the school's $500 million capital campaign, is the largest ever given to a business school doctoral program, the school said Monday.
