Summary

The Internal Revenue Service has announced locations for free income tax preparation in Kanawha and Putnam counties as part of the Earned Income Tax Credit outreach program. The EITC is for working families with incomes less than $37,263. Eligible families may receive money back even if they don't owe taxes; but they must file a tax return.
