Local governments in 11 counties hit by recent flooding are eligible for federal funding to help pay the costs of cleanup and repairs.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Friday it has approved public assistance funding for Braxton, Gilmer, Jackson, Logan, Mingo, Putnam, Raleigh, Roane, Webster, Wirt and Wayne counties.
