On Thursday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency granted the state's request to add 11 counties to the original seven in the president's disaster declaration after last month's severe weather, Gov. Joe Manchin's office announced today.
The amendment adds Barbour, Gilmer, Grant, Hardy, Lewis, McDowell, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Putnam, Upshur and Webster counties to the list of those eligible for federal help to repair public facilities caused by severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides between April 14 and 18.See the full content of this document
