MORGANTOWN - Calling the defendant a "horrific threat to others," a judge has sentenced a five-time drunken driving offender to at least five years in prison for causing a fatal accident.

William F. Stevens, 47, of Morgantown, pleaded guilty on June 8 to DUI causing death, leaving the scene of an accident causing death and third-offense DUI. He was sentenced Thursday by Monongalia County Circuit Judge Robert B. Stone.
