For the first time in 20 years, the Legislature won't be holding interim meetings out-of-town this year.

Raamie Barker, administrative assistant to Senate President Earl Ray Tomblin, D-Logan, said a weak economy and scheduling conflicts convinced legislators to stay put in Charleston for each of the monthly three-day sessions this year.
