Broken twigs, compressed grass, fresh footprints - members of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department analyzed them all on Monday during training exercises to track fugitives and missing persons.
Experts from the state Division of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service trained about 20 members of the Sheriff's Department's SWAT team and the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority. The men followed tracks along trails at Camp Virgil Tate, trying to locate two deputies posing as fugitives.See the full content of this document
