Summary


The state Department of Environmental Protection's chief of legal services is taking a job with the federal government.

Starting Dec. 11, Perry McDaniel will join the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a regional criminal enforcement attorney. McDaniel will be based in Charleston at the U.S. Attorney's office. An EPA special agent has been working out of that office since the fall of 1998.
