33-day vacation President Bush this week flew home to Texas to spend 33 days on vacation, with some side trips and some outside- the-Beltway politics. White House aides say say Bush is looking forward to spending time with friends and family at his ranch and to being able to shed the coat and tie. It is the longest presidential retreat in at least 36 years, according to The Washington Post.
