Counterfeiting, Drug Charges Lead Indictments

Summary


A Mercer County man and woman were indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday for allegedly passing counterfeit $50 bills.

Jerry Hale, 56, and Sharon Profitt, 50, both of Bluefield, passed the phony bills on March 23 and March 30 in Bluefield, the grand jury alleged in a two-count indictment.
