Clap Your Hands Say Yeah were the indie darlings of 2005. The band's surprise success - thanks to its blog-posted, self-titled debut album - brought acclaim from hipster youth across America. The key to the band's almost instantaneous success was not really its word-of-blog distribution or "keeping it indie," as some claimed, but simply having good songs with fresh sounds and clever songwriting.
