Christian Singles Event:: The interdenominational, two-county- wide singles group, "SoLife," will hold a "First Friday" event at Teays Valley Acres in Scott Depot on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. The free evening will feature a bonfire with hotdogs and s'mores. Teays Valley Acres is the new name of the recreation park for Putnam County that is owned and operated by the Teays Valley Church of God. Singles of all ages are welcome to attend this evening of fun and fellowship. Teays Valley Acres is located just east of Rocky Step on Teays Valley Road. From Exit 40 off of I-64, go east on Teays Valley Road one mile and one quarter and turn up the newly paved hill on the right. SoLife events average about 75 singles from two counties. First Friday events, Bible studies, trips and other fellowship events enable them to connect Christian singles in friendship.
