Guitar virtuoso Peter Frampton plays the Clay Center at 8 p.m. tonight. The Grammy winner will share songs from his latest album, "Thank You Mr. Churchill," along with hits from his long career, including "Baby, I Love Your Way" and "Show Me the Way."
Frampton rose to prominence as a session musician in his early teens and joined the rock band Humble Pie when he was 18. Since then, he has become legendary rock star in his solo career, and he has no intention of quitting anytime soon. He told a Gazette reporter, "I don't plan on stopping until they tell me, 'Here's the gate, Mr. Frampton. Out into the pasture you go.'"
