WILMINGTON, Ohio - A few roving bears could be responsible for a rash of bear sightings in a southern Ohio county, a state wildlife officer said, and it's possible that one or two have staked out a home.

Any bears in Adams County likely came from West Virginia, said Ohio Division of Wildlife Officer Chris Gilkey.
