Each summer these past few years, Touch of Life has spent some time at the Putnam County Fair. These have been enjoyable visits, and while only one visit was made in 2004, it, too, was enjoyable. Here are a few thoughts about the fair.
Rain is a natural enemy to picnics, backyard events and, of course, fairs. However, an improvement made at the Putnam County Fairgrounds made rain less of a threat in 2004. New this year is the cement floor under one of the large barns. During the fair's first weekend, the rains came and threatened at least one evening performance.See the full content of this document
