Summary


The 41st annual Capital City Art & Craft Show ran from Nov. 21 to Nov. 23 at the Charleston Civic Center. Sponsored by the Kanawha City Lions Club, the show featured approximately 200 booths set up by cooks, artists, authors and others, from Kanawha, Putnam and numerous other counties from throughout West Virginia and several other states. ABOVE: Kanawha City cartoonist David Brinkley delighted Art & Craft Show visitors with his whimsical caricatures. Above, his subject is Taylor Ooten (right). Looking on are (from left) Shanda Parsons of St. Albans, Paige Cecil and Brandy Ooten of Madison.

LEFT TOP: Paula Kay Kingry (right) of Dunbar offers meatball samples to passersby at the Capital City Art & Craft Show. With her is her sister, Joyce Bowe of Kanawha City. Kingry runs Dark Hollow Foods, which sells, among other items, a dark sauce and meatball mix.
