Dear Annie: Once again, we've endured an unpleasant visit from my boyfriend's daughter, "Mitzi," and her husband, "Boris." Mitzi is OK, but Boris is intolerable. Unfortunately, Mitzi apparently sees nothing wrong with her husband's behavior. She will occasionally tell him to "shush," but that's about it.

Every time we are in Boris' company, he expounds about bathroom procedures and tells jokes about everything anal. One time, my boyfriend had a private conversation with Mitzi about her husband, and she broke into tears and defended him. She said that he expects us to laugh at his stories. I admit, when I first met him six years ago, he would make mild allusions about some vulgarity in a recent movie, and it could be amusing. But now it occurs every time we are in their company, and it's becoming more and more disgusting.
